NALBANT.
A musical journey from Bursa, spanning radio, the stage and the studio.
Kemal Nalbant began his professional music career in Bursa in the early 2000s. His radio journey started with Aktifmix sets on Radyoaktif, followed by Clubin Türk on Olay FM and music columns for Olay newspaper’s Çekirge supplement. He worked in technical broadcasting, production and music direction at Radyoaktif and Uludağ FM. He currently continues his work in live broadcasting, social media management and directing at Bursada Bugün.
Bringing DJ performance and production together, Nalbant began collaborating with Muratt Mat in 2016. His Ritual Frequency series blends ethnic textures with electronic rhythms, while his live selections move through oldies, the 70s, 80s and 90s, blues, swing and pop.
Every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday night, he meets his audience at Newcastle in Bursa Podyumpark from 20:00 to 00:00.
